Guardian Home/Family

We want the very very best life for our parent dogs- a home with  lots of attention, couch cuddling, car rides, walks, etc….all the things that we cannot always do for them when we have litters of puppies because the puppies and the mothers of those puppies take up most of our time and attention. 

So we have decided to place some of our adult dogs and puppies that we keep into guardIan homes.
Our guardian families get to have one of our top of the line dogs, no upfront cost to them. We own breeding rights but the dog is their dog as a pet. We get the dog for a few days during her heat cycle then she goes back to her home. we then have the dog come stay with us about a week before her due date to prepare for birth, she will go home to her guardian after puppies wean around 5 weeks old. After 4 litters we retire The dog from breeding and have the dog spayed and the we sign the dog over to the family.

Most of these opportunities will be for one of our keeper puppies thst we choose to keep from a litter to breed in the future , but we do have some adults at times that need guardian homes . 

We do have some guidelines that are necessary for the safety and  health of our dogs:

• Fenced in yard or Petsafe electric collar fence (around $300 for system)

• NO unneutered males in the home 

• must communicate with breeder about health concerns and keep up to date on yearly shots 

• guardian fsnily is responsible for regular vet visits; breeder is financially resp for any breeding related vet bills

• must feed dog food of breeders choice, we have a few options we feel are good for fertility that you can choose from.
• provide monthly flea/tick and heart worm meds (do not give while mom dog is in heat or pregnant, can cause miscarriage or deformitie)

• take dog to groomer on a regular basis - we recommend every 6-8 weeks. Brush several times a week!

• must live within 3 hours of Hattiesburg, MS and be willing to meet halfway when needed
